Music recitals are optional, but we encourage all students to participate. If students are nervous we encourage them to come to the recital and see what it is all about.
How do I sign up for music recitals?
You can sign up by calling the school.
How do I sign up for private music lessons?
You may register online for private music lessons here, or call the office. You may also call or email the office to discuss the best teacher and time for you or your child.
How is my tuition charged?
Tuition is charged monthly. The charge is the same each month. Late start students will have their first payment prorated.
How long is the session?
Dance classes run through mid May and culminate in a spring showcase. There is a separate dance class summer session. Music lessons run year round and students are enrolled ongoing. To withdraw provide the school 30 days notice and sign the withdrawal form in the office.
What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards and bank draft. Payments are deducted automatically each month.
I would like to change my payment method, how do I do this?
You can log into your account here to change payment info. You may also call the school to update this.
How do I schedule a make up music lesson?
You may schedule a makeup music lesson with your teacher. Students are allowed two makeups per year.
Can I make up a dance class?
You may attend another classes of appropriate level as a makeup. Please let the office know if you are attending another class as a makeup so we do not overbook.
Is there a dance recital?
Yes. There is a spring showcase for all classes. Families will receive an informational packet about the show.
What do I need for lessons, does my child need an instrument?
All music students should have an instrument to practice on at home and should bring the instrument to lessons. You should bring a practice book to lessons. Your teacher will also assign a book to purchase.
What level dance class should I sign up for?
If you are new to dance or switching from another program and not sure what level to sign up for please call the school for placement.
My child is not quite 3 and I would like to sign up for dance do I have to wait till she is 3?
Age ranges are flexible, if your child will turn three within the fall and you feel she is ready for classes you may register. If you are unsure what class is best, please call the school.
How quickly should my child advance through the levels in dance?
With the exception of classes under the age of 6 each level is designed to take multiple years to complete. If you have questions about your child’s progression please ask your individual teacher.
How do I withdraw from classes?
The deadline to withdraw from all classes is March 1st for dance classes. Students must give 30 days notice by completing and signing a withdrawal form. In order to discontinue payments the office must first have a signed withdrawal form. The form will be processed and your account will be settled for all classes including the 30 day period. There are no credits or refunds.
How do I find out if there is a weather cancellation or delay?
