2020 Summer Schedule

FILM CAMP

JUNE 22-26

Get started on your adventure to making your own films! Whether you are excited to produce video for the internet or the big screen this course prepares students for a future in filmmaking.  The culmination of the camp will be a screening of the class’ film on the big screen at the
Alamo Drafthouse in Littleton.

The camp begins with basic principles of acting on camera, short narrative filmmaking: screenplay structure, camera functionality, camera operation, and role descriptions. Students then learn how to work as a crew, act together, how to storyboard, how to direct, and how to edit. Students will produce either one larger film or two to three short film projects from start to finish, learning from each experience as they share, reflect and receive constructive feedback.

Camp Tuition: 3 Payments or $143 or 1 Payment of $425

FROZEN JR

JULY 13-24

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Students will memorize lines, understand scene work and the importance of working as a group. Students will learn the basics – voice control, Broadway dance and singing.  Instruction on acting, stage movement, theatrical terms, awareness games, theater games, blocking (stage movement), character analysis, voice projection, anatomy of a theater, respect, dialogue and diction, stage movement and of course, having fun on stage! 

Our only requirement – your excitement and willingness to learn!

Once registration is complete audition and casting information will be sent.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND
(Littleton / Highlands Ranch)

JUNE 8-12

Perform in the timeless classic that takes you down the rabbit hole with the ever-curious Alice to a land of zany adventures where nothing is as it seems.  Join us on a trip down the rabbit hole on a magical journey that will include Alice, White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts, King of Hearts, Chesire Cat, the Duchess, Caterpillar, Mad Hatter, March Hare, Dormouse, Tweedledee, Tweedledum, Cast of Cards among others. Alice follows each Wonderland character down the rabbit hole, taking the leap to leave her boring English childhood behind. 

Students will memorize lines, understand scene work and the importance of working as a group.
